Construction of permanent building to house a Church and serve as a Community Centre
Approximate cost remaining: Aus $10,000.
The construction of a community centre in Khulwanda, Kenya remains an ongoing focus for John Cairns Ministries. The building will be used throughout the week, not only by the churches and ministries that JCM works with in Kenya, but also for community activities such as child immunizations, mothercraft classes, medical care, life skills training, seminars and local government meetings. It will be a hub for church services and LNI gatherings in East Africa. Progress on the building continues. Some roofing materials have been purchased and as soon as funds are received for timber and labour costs the roofing work will begin. Gifts for specific materials such as bricks, doors, windows, and walls etc. would be very welcome.
